We hired [redacted], Premier Food Trucks, to build us a coffee truck. We paid over $16,000 for a deposit. Shortly after that he disappearedWe found his ad online, he was supposedly located in Reno. We found a truck, which he picked up and took to his shop. We paid a deposit wired into his account. We drove 4 hours one way to meet him and plan the truck out, and when we got there he wasn't there and had a man we had never heard of there, who was a cabinet maker and didn't even know what kind of truck we were building. There was not one single thing in the shop besides our truck. We were very upset, and unable to contact Mr. [redacted] after that. We found an attorney of record for the company, after we called that attorney Mr. [redacted] finally answered us. We had a phone conference where he apologized profusely for dropping the ball, assured us we were on track, and we made an appointment for a second meeting. When we arrived, he wasn't there. His employee came and opened the door and we took our truck off the premises. We found out he had been evicted from a prior shop space, and was being evicted from the current space. We found out he was from North Carolina, and that an investigative report had been done on him. We were actually featured in a follow up story and are still trying to get our money back from him. Desired SettlementThis has cost us thousands of dollars past what we paid him to build our truck, however we are willing to settle for the $16,145.69 we paid him and won't seek additional refunds if this gets paid
I bought a food truck. They never gave me the title plus wired money for completion of truck was told mistakes they made they would credit and also told when done. I came to location nothing there and the guy I spoke with originally shows up and tells us a story about a business partner. He claims he's fixing the issue and delivering truck He still doesn't call he send email again of the same pictures? There is over 25,000.00 dollars involved and all wired transacations from bank to bank/////Desired SettlementIf he continues as he states and can deliver it I want it as he said and he continued not to finish yet. Otherwise I want my money back in FULL!/////
