[redacted]Aloha All,Thanks for giving us an opportunity to explain. This job was a referral from the cleaners that clean for this man. His schedule was so crazy. I wasn't steering him into going to a particular store. I was just letting him know they have the most "in stock" carpets to choose from. He ended up settling on a [redacted] carpet from [redacted] with just 2 days before he had to leave. We ended up scheduling his install for 6:00am to day of his departure. We already had other obligations that day but he was persistent. We showed up that morning at 6 and did his install. It was a exterior installation using a interior [redacted]. We glued it down and he loved it. He had a refrigerator delivered and we even helped him carry that in before we left. The agreed price was $500 and he gave us a $100 tip for squeezing him in. Then I get a call from his cleaner saying their vacuum snagged a row in the carpet and it started pulling. I set up with him a time to go there to fix this issue, but he couldn't control the vacancy of this property in the rental pool. Then while on vacation, this customer calls me needing me to come by because he is back at his house and needs me to fix the carpet. Then he calls the store ([redacted]) claiming there's an issue with his carpet and they need to send someone over. The store owner calls me, and I answer because I recognize her number. So I schedule with my friend (the cleaner) to go there when I get back. I get back and the cleaner tells me never mind, he wants to take me to court. So I left it alone until. I get this email that he called the Revdex.com. There was no report made. Or no manufacture rep sent out to inspect the product and installation (which is usually the case in situations like this). In his letter it says we didn't put seam sealer on his carpet. Which is absolutely false. Who did the inspection to say that a seam sealer wasn't used?I don't mind taking some responsibility on this job, but not 80%. Not when the product selected is intended for an indoor application. Or knowing the cleaners vacuum caught the loop and snagged it. Or not when we were able to adjust our timetable to fit this customers schedule. Please let ,e know if you need any more information. Or if there is any questions or concerns you may have. Thank you,Andrew I[redacted]Director of OperationsPremier Flooring Company, L.L.C.[redacted]
