BEEN A YEAR SINCE THE PURCHASE OF THE VEHICLE - NO RECEIPT WILL NEED TO BE GIVEN PLEASE HAVE THE CUSTOMER CALL TO CONFIRM MAILING ADDRESS AND WE WILL REIMBURSE HER FOR THE INSPECTION STICKER

I spoke to [redacted] earlier today and had him bring his wife's [redacted] in to inspect the "binding" condition he referred to in his demand letter. Upon inspection it was determined that the universal joint on the steering shaft has excessive wear causing his binding condition. I took the...

opportunity to bring [redacted] out of the vehicle to show him the universal joint and it's condition. I communicated to him this was in no way related to the airbag recall that was performed as the recall requires replacement of the airbag recall that was performed as the recall process. The universal joint in the steering shaft is toward the bottom of the car close to the steering rack and as stated is binding due to wear.
