I was in contact w/[redacted] ab a 2005 Chevy suburban on the lot. After seeing the reports ran on the car and the fact that [redacted] said he had paper work showing where the vehicle had been mechanically inspected and was good to go, I put down a $300 hold deposit on the vehicle until we could drive up to see the vehicle & buy it. We drove 5.5 hours. The vehicle physically was in great shape. My husband started inspecting it, he found an exhaust leak & oil leak. Upon cking the oil,he found metal shavings in the oil, checked 3 times. We then hear a ticking noise in the motor & it got louder, at which point [redacted] turned off the ignition. My husband said to [redacted], this vehicle has motor trouble that was the lifters knocking in the motor. He denied it. We were not returned our $300 even though we were given misleading info on the vehicle. My husband has worked on Chevys for 15+ years and had no reason to fabricate what he heard and found. This was very upsetting for us.
