Precision Door Service of Columbus

On June 29, 2020 I called (614) 294-5190 The "Precision Door Service Of Columbus, located at ***. and specifically requested their service "To replace 2 broken garage door opener cables". I asked how much they charge. They said (I think) $49.50 for the Service call plus material used. Next day 06-30-20 their technician *** came. I informed him that I needed to have the 2 broken garage door opened cables replaced. He replied that he CANNOT change the broken cables without previously changing 2 garage door spring $180 each. I re-iterated that that service call was for the cables only. He replied he cannot change ONLY the cables he must ALSO change the springs. I told him no I only want the cables changed. He said I still must pay for the service call. Since my car was in the garage and I could not take it out unless the garage door was operable I paid him with VISA $400.00 to do as he insisted. I then talked with the company's office and explained that I was very unhappy. They said they will refund me portion of the charge. To this date 07-09-20 I have not received and refund.
