Terrible experience I sent my P [redacted] in for repair The camera was returned and had been repaired and "reset to factory condition" according to Precision camera NOT Every picture I take has an underexposed stripe down the side - clearly not a "factory condition." I contacted customer service - no help So I sent an note to the CEO He did not even bother to respond I have been a [redacted] user for years but am seriously contemplating a switch as I am told Precision is the only US repair facility for [redacted] and I will never give them my business again

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I did indeed contact them about my camera within weeks after receiving the camera back from them in March & I did so by email & they ignored my requestI originally sent it in because it was using batteries up within an hour - I suspected a short, When I got it back it did the same thingSo I put it away & bought another cameraThen, a few weeks ago, I got it back out & it does not even turn onSo, I feel I was charged for a repair that was never done I do not wish to use the camera even if they could fix it I just want my $back for a job that they failed to perform Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I still do not have my camera and representations as to where the parts are, whether they have been ordered and what is required to repair my camera keeps changingFurther, the delays in the processing of this repair job are excessive and inexplicableIf Precision camera knew that I needed to approve additional charges for parts to repair this camera on 9/16, WHY was I not called for the approval request? WHY did it take SIX BUSINESS DAYS to determine the extent of the repairs necessary?? I dropped this camera off on 9/8, yet the extent of repairs needed was not determined until 9/16! That's excessive and unacceptable It was not until 9/19, when *I [redacted] phoned Precision camera that I was told that parts and payment authorization were requiredOn 9/I authorized charges for the parts that were KNOWN to be needed on 9/16, yet as of 9/the parts were STILL NOT ORDERED! There is no excuse for this, particularly given that manager Miles stated that parts are shipped within hours of ordering The failures on the part of this business to service the camera in a reasonable period of time are simply inexplicable and unacceptable Ironic that their website home page claims "Comprehensive repair parts inventory Excellent service Fastest turn times" [redacted] , Disgusted customer
