Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: After the vehicle died on the street for the third time I decided not to take my vehicle back to there shop, I've brought the vehicle there twice for the same problem and refused to do so a third time and on both occasion cost me money I later consulted another shop ( [redacted] ) that diagnose the problem which is stem from oil not getting to the cylinder headsThe engine is now being rebuilt because Precision fail to give me the proper diagnosis which could've save me time and money I spent taking the car to there facilities Sincerely, [redacted]
There was a complaint registered about work we performed on a lLincoln Continental, we offer a year warranty on parts and labor, we have not received any calls from the customer of his issues, We completed the work as needed with the customers understanding that we need to start with tune up components first customer agreed to work The second time the customer brought in his Lincoln Continental we addressed the stalling and dying issues, found that the aftermarket electric fuel pump previously installed was failing, again we received customers permission to install new fuel pump.I explained to the customer that because this vehicle sat for a long time some of the issues may be internal to the carbureatorand it may need to be rebuilt. This is a year old vehicle, with this type of vehicle you have to start with the problems you see first, then you work down the list, you cannot hook up a scanner to see what is wrong , these old cars are very tempermental and require a very skilled technician to work on them.I explained to the customer both times they were in that we back up our work, the customer has not given us a chance to see if we can get to the root of the problem
