Trying to get partial funds out of my farm settlement. Have check from title company for settlement and you want to hold for 7 to 10 days before funds are available to me . I understand that title companies are insured for money they pay to recipients for sales of properties. This is a federal law I am told. There money is in escrow which means they are guaranteed payments for checks that they write to customers. Correct me if I am wrong. I am sure that you will use my money for investment while I am unable to get any of it.
At the end of the year I need part of this money for purchases for tax purposes.Your POLICY is going to cost me several thousands of dollars. I have been a customer of yours since 1996 or before, and I will not stay with you after the first of year because of this POLICY that you choose to have for your customers. This is a million dollar account when settlement is complete and you will be losing it after the first of year and I will let other people know about your POLICY.
I would understand this on individual checks but not from title companies. No check they write will be a small amount where the average person will have that kind of money in your checking accounts with you to cover the amount of check as you require. Looks like a very poor rule that you enforce with your customers.
Obviously you aren't concerned or care about the welfare of your customers. I thought your customers is what builds a bank.
