We are trying to get a cabin built north of Killdeer We signed a contract with Allen *** of Prairie Outpost Log Homes of Mandan in the summer of Our contract states that our estimated completion date was Dec31, It still has not been completed We have tried to be understanding of his problem of getting workers in the remote area, although when we signed with him he stated that he uses a crew from Wisconsin, which did not happen Our contract stated that we needed to pay at certain points throughout the process, which we’ve done plus more than the original bid since we had a couple of add ons
Below are some of the things that has happened that has caused us concern:
told us multiple times that he could not start another home/cabin until ours and our brother-in-laws are completed but has been spending most of his time working on one that he started this spring in Mandan
often takes him several days to return phone calls
