Practice Velocity is the billing company for a medical office in our hometown of Helena [redacted] I'm sure this company is very good at collecting money, but when it comes to dealing with a legitimate request for a reimbursement for a bill that ended up getting paid both by myself and the insurance company, they were worse than uselessWe paid our bill and then worked for almost a year with PV to try to get this bill paid by insurance and be reimbursedPV continued to say they were working to get the necessary information to [redacted] They were never of any useWe finally did an end run around the clinic and PV and worked directly with ***who agreed to pay the claim (despite never getting the required information from the clinic and the billing company)By that time the clinic had gone out of businessThe billing company basically just told us we were out of luckLet me reiterate, the clinic was paid for these service twice, and the company that handles all of their billing informed us that they could not provide us with the reimbursementTheir business model appears to be to hire pleasant young staff to smile and tell you they'll take care if the issue and then simply hang up the phone and move onThen when you call back again (and again and again), you get an "oh I'm so sorry we'll follow up on that" but never any follow throughI'm confident that if we had been dealing with a competent and ethical business we would have gotten this taken care of in a timely manner and would have received the legitimate reimbursement for my son's physical (yes, just a physicalThis was not a complicated issue despite PV's inability to help us with it)
