This lady had her car in our shop for a wiper problem (***) wipers quit working. Checked it out. Checked all wiring had power into the moter and out. This usualy means that the moter in out when she came back for me repair it I took the cowl apart and pulled the who
assembly out. Found out that is was not the motor and that it was the wiper transmission, I called her to show her what it was, I called Dan at Lawrence on my phone # *** and I was told that they were on back order due to recalls , I also called fisher Auto Parts and Martin called all the Sfffon Market Parts were on back order also (***) She said that she wanted her car so I put it back together. I also told her that she would have to pay labor again and she got upset. We don't work for nothing, in our Labor Rate is $hr. That part only fits in one way so I don't know what they told her. The part was not put together incorrectly it only goes in one way. I didn't lie to her.The parts are not all the same price. I put the arm on to show her how the arm goes on and told her the arm will pop off again under a load. Thank you, Allan R
