Review: I purchased fuel using my debit card for authorization at the pump on July 30, 2014 (pump #3) for unleaded gas, 5.353 gallons, price $3.739/gal. Total sale per receipt issued from the cashier inside is: $20.01, Invoice #[redacted]; the time was 13:46. Approval code: #[redacted].The sales transaction for this purchase noted above ($20.01) was processed at the price: $52.58 against my checking account. The overcharge amount, $32.57, is a considerable error. I have filed a Cardholder Dispute with my credit union for investigation and reconciliation of this transaction error. I am also filing this complaint because similar transaction error(s) could be happening to other patrons of this business. If a patron(s) is able to authorize a fuel purchase at the pump, dispense fuel and then does not get a receipt, the person would have no proof if a similar overcharge occurs.Desired Settlement: Please investigate to verify whether this sales transaction error was a one-time occurrence that can be corrected and prevented from happening again. Or is overcharging for gas purchases authorized at the pump happening repeatedly (possibly deliberately) to other existing and future patrons of P&R Foodmart.
