RE: [redacted] ***ID [redacted] Dear Ms [redacted] A PPG representative recently inspected Mr***’s deckBased on that inspection, and the information Mr [redacted] provided to that representative, PPG does not change its opinion that the problem Mr [redacted] has experienced is an application issue, not a product failure.Mr [redacted] told our representative that he used gallons of the stain; however, the 5-gallon pail that was on-site was emptyThis amount of stain for the size of his decks and spindles would indicate an over-applicationOver-application of stain would result in a lack of penetration and subsequent peelingMr [redacted] confirmed what he had told our Technical Service Adviser several months ago; he had rolled the stain on the deck and did not back-brush as recommended on the label.From the inspection, we were able to determine that this particular batch of stain was manufactured in March and that there were 6,gallons of stain producedThe stain met all manufacturing specifications, and PPG also checked its complaint reporting system and found no complaints similar to Mr***’s.PPG’s offer of Sis still available to Mr***Thank you for the opportunity to investigate and comment on this complaint.Very truly yours, [redacted] Claims Coordinator

I am waiting for an additional test report from PPG's Technical Service laboratory Unfortunately due to the Holidays that report has been delayed I plan to have a response to Ms***'s recent letter by the end of next week, the 15th Thank you

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint Unfortunately during a call to Mrs [redacted] today, I was told that PPG is done playing this Revdex.com game and will no longer help come to a conclusion I was told on phone calls I changed my stain application method Though the mentioned methods are condoned by PPG I can't understand why this was their reasoning of why the stain is flaking offI have yet to hear a good reason for thisI can apply the stain every way stated on the can and shouldn't flakeDifferent application method for different applications as I commented on the phone I was asked to subpoena the calls if I'd like to hear themUnfortunately my deck surfaces have endured so much weathering that new stain penetration would be difficult The thousands of dollars your company may have lost me due to your negligence and failure to provide any evidence of wrong doing is very stressfulI really believe that if you would have took stain samples as we discussed then there would have been a different outcomeI did everything asked, then when I asked for something you said to subpoena PPGThat is not a company that people want to purchase from I hope that the Revdex.com can come to a conclusion or put my letters online to help show others that PPG is a low quality product that's unable to live to standards expressed Regards, [redacted] ***
Due to an error on PPG's part, Mr***'s check was not issued We apologize for this oversight Technical Service has advised that all paperwork was submitted to PPG's accounting center last week and the check will be expedited for processing If Mr [redacted] does not receive the check by Wednesday, August I would ask that he contact me directly for follow-up My number is ###-###-#### Thank you
