To chiropractor service from 04/27/18 till jan/25/19 total 26 visit and they charged me $4455 to atena and atena said I owe $1352.54 and have a receipt for paying $1331.25, but they insted to pay the rest of $2000+ which atena didnt payed. but it asked many questions regarding billing their answers were not convincing for rest of amount $2000+ they charged me, they went to collection agent that I owe $536.97, how come the I own $536.97 after I payed $1331.25.
has sent a claim against PPC Wellness for treatment during 4/27/2018-Jan/25/2019. Her treatment plan was for 24 visits. Mrs. wanted PPC Wellness to charge her insurance for her treatment. Insurance did not cover all of the treatment visits while at PPC Wellness. Attached is the charges that was sent to her insurance. The charge slip showed a balance of $536.97 remaining on her account. PPC Wellness sent Mrs. a letter to discuss the remaining balance with no success in communication. Mrs. was sent to collections because of various attempts wit no response. PPC Wellness would like to work with Mrs. to resolve this complaint.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I had chiropractic service from a PPC wellness center at 20 Executive Dr. Ste A, Carmel, Indiana 46032( April to jan 2019). I requested billing on 12/14/2018 since they sounded wrong with the amount I owe for their service($1818.64), so I checked my insurance claim and it said the expected billing amount I would have to pay would be $1331.25 as of 12/12/2018. I compared both bills from chiropractic and Atena claims, I found for claims on below dates differes where Atena has adjusted amount I owe and chiropractic charged me the amount which they charged the insurance company see the page 3 and page 4 of chiropractor bill, please see the attachments
For date:
4/30/18 - center charged -$290 but Atena said I owe - $103.22
5/8/2018- center charged -$126.41 but Atena said I owe- $79.04
5/15/2018-$240 but Atena-$67.66
5/18/2018-center-$105 but Atena-$39.01
5/22/2018-center -$199.44 but Atena-$98.48
I am disappointed because I was billed the extra amount($536.97) than what Atena has suggested for my service; something was not disclosed clearly or was misrepresented by the PPC wellness center.
To resolve the problem, I would appreciate your action to remove the collection agent (*** collection LLC) on my credit report which lowered my credit history and impacts my credit score. I will pay ~ $21 which I owe for Jan 2019 service. Enclosed copies of my records (include receipts for the amount paid to PPC wellness center, Atena insurance claim report and the bill sent by ppc wellness chiropractic).
Moreover, the *** collection agency didn’t contact me regarding this , until I trace them through my chase credit report and got *** collection agent contact number. when I called and checked them they said they got on July 2019 but they haven’t contacted me until I call them in February 2020.
I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem.
