PParadis Floors and Remodeling

Please be aware the double P in the company name is not a typo on my part it's how it's spelled on my contract with the owner. On [redacted] 2015 I contacted this person to refinish my hardwood floor. On [redacted] he came by to look at the project and asked for a check of [redacted] as a deposit. He stated he would be back in one week on [redacted] to begin the project. Well he never showed up but he cashed my check. I called everyday. He finally called me back and said he would be here the next [redacted] Then he called and left me a message stating that was a holiday and he would come that [redacted] He never showed up. I called again three times a day for over a week. No response. I posted his business card on facebook and asked if anyone knew this guy or where he was because I had just noticed he doesn't list an address so you can contact him. Finally he answers me and said he had been out of town. Said he would return the supplies he bought and pay me back. I have heard numerous excuses from him but regardless I have not had my money returned. As I have asked around town I found out he has done this too several people/businesses.
