Since May 17, we have transactions that we are unable to refund our guests due to poynt technical issues. Poynt has not been able to resolve this.
Over the last 2 years, we have gone through 6-7 poynt terminals due to product failure. The terminals look nice, but they are not made for the hospitality environment. Since 5/17, we have been attempting to refund guests but these transactions are in limbo due to Poynt technical issues. They have not been able to resolve our issue and will not provide any ETA regarding a fix. This is directly hurting our relationship with customers as we are not able to refund them what is rightfully theirs. I have contacted Poynt multiple times and am still waiting for an appropriate response.
We need Poynt to resolve their technical issue as soon as possible and provide compensation for damages due to inability to refund payments (i.e. chargebacks, negative guest reviews)
Since purchasing two registers for*** it's been nothing but lies and mis-truths. The functions of the registers are not was promised and they never came through on any improvements to rectify it. Poynt hides behind resellers... which mis-direct to the processor... which points back to the registers manufacturer. All three have access to support tickets so the user has no idea who they are asking support from. Poynt Head of Customer Success offered to refund me on August 4 and then recanted. I've lost time, sanity, and customers because of them!

Refund Refund of *** purchase price.
Late last year we worked with *** to address his concerns. He decided that the device was not a good fit for his business. We reimbursed a portion of the cost of the devices even though they were out of warranty. *** said he was satisfied with the outcomes. I have documentation from *** that this resolution was satisfactory to him.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
They offered to refund.
