RE: [redacted] Dear Ms [redacted] ,Ms [redacted] purchased a Buick Lesabre on February 27, She did purchase the vehicle As-ls.She was having problems with the vehicle and we had her get the vehicle towed to our dealershipAfter diagnosis, we resolved that it did need a new motor We informed her that the cost of the repair would be her responsibility, and she stated she was unable to pay because she did not have the moneyShe asked if the money she had put down on the vehicle, which was $800.00, and the two payments she made totaling $225.00, could be used towards her repairsWe explain that that was not an option, being that tax, plates, doc/notary fees, and payments are not something we can just undo and apply somewhere else. After revisiting the issue, we did tell her we would put the motor in and we would work out satisfactory payment arrangementsWe have not received a response as to what she wishes to do.If you need anything further, please feel free to contact me by written correspondence.Sincerely, [redacted] Powers Auto Sales

Review: I got a car from Power's auto sale in new brighton, pa. The car was a dodge neon 1999...Ever since I first got the car there was problems with the vehicle. I told power's over and over again about the different issues that the car was having..I kept on having to put tons of money in the car from day one..to make the story short I ended up giving them back the car because the car broke down and I couldn't pay for it any longer to keep getting it fixed. So I returned the vehicle to them. There is a couple of other people who recieved cars from them and the same has happened to them..It is wrong for this business to keep ripping people off from there money for these lemon cars..This friend of mine got a vehicle from them also and her head gasket on her car just blew...This place needs to be shut down and dealt with promptly..Desired Settlement: I want a refund for all of the money I spent on the car payments and a vehicle that I can use that I am not constantly throwing my money into. I would also definetly want the business to either be shut down or deal with in a way so that way they will not continue doing this to people..

Mrs. [redacted] purchased a vehicle on June 29, 2012. She declined an extended warranty and chose to purchase the vehicle As-Is.
A few weeks following her purchase she contacted us with a concern. We checked the vehicle out and there was a loose ground to the body control module. This repair was fixed at no cost to her. From that point, until almost a year there were no further complaints and Mrs. [redacted] paid her payments in a timely manner.
On February 6, 2013 she called with a concern. She got the vehicle here and it ended up needing a serpentine belt. Total cost was $87.97, which she agreed to pay upon picking the vehicle up. She came to get the vehicle and only brought $40.00, so, as a courtesy to her we let her take the vehicle and the remainder we put on a repair account due March 1, 2013. February 25, 2013 she called having another issue, she got the vehicle here and we checked it out again. The catalytic converter needed replaced, she agreed to the estimate so the work was completed. The total repair was $417.00. She picked the vehicle up and paid $125.00.
We agreed to do a repair account again on the remaining balance which she was to pay $60.00 a month until paid. She made payments as follows: April 1, $60.00, May 1 $60.00, and May 31 $60.00. After that she ceased paying. On July 3, 2013 she contacted us again because her vehicle needed inspected. We do not inspect cars, but we agreed to send the vehicle out for her. They contacted us as to what
was needed to complete inspection/emission. The vehicle needed front brake pads, rotors, rear brake shoes and 2 tires, all of which are wearable items. We in turn called Mrs. [redacted] to inform her, she wanted us to pay for it and let her do a repair account again. She also asked to skip some of her car payments because she was moving. We explained to her that since she was already in arrears, that we could not help her unless she brought her account current. At this point, Mrs. [redacted] became very confrontational and was yelling at the lady who explained everything to her. She in no uncertain terms said to shove the vehicle, among other obscenities. We went above and beyond to help Mrs. [redacted], we understood she was on a fixed income, that is why we let her do repair accounts, which she chose to quit paying on. Also, it is not the dealerships responsibility to repair wearable items such as brakes and tires over a year after she purchased the vehicle.
If you need anything further please feel free to submit another request in writing.

Review: I had purchased a 1996 buick lesabre from Powers Auto Sales at the end of February 2015. It was purchased with no warranty due to the age of the vehicle. I did not have the vehicle a full 30 days and the car needs a new motor. When the car was towed back to Powers they told me it needs a new motor. They also discussed with me that it would cost 1300 to get the motor put in and they didn't know if it could work it into my payments considering I was not able to come up with money up front. I have paid almost 1100 on the car so far and have not seen any results about the car. I asked if they could take the 1100 I had put on the car and put it toward the purchase of a different vehicle in the same price range or to give me my money back to go elsewhere and they have refused both. I feel that they knew the motor was almost gone and sold me a vehicle that they told me was good to go. I have had the vehicle under 30 days by the time the incident happened so I feel I should not have to pay the cost of the motor . I feel like they sold me a lemon. However lemon law doesn't apply in this case considering the car is over 10 yrs old. I have made multiple phone calls to them to ask them what the situation was with the car and I keep getting promised a call back and they never have yet to call me back. I have to keep calling them and keep hearing the same answers of what's wrong with the car and that they would call me back and they do not, even just to let me know they are still working on the problem and they will get back to me as soon as possible.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to either have them put in the motor at no cost to me because I have had the vehicle under 30 days or put the 1100 I've put toward the car to the purchase of another vehicle. Or they can refund me my 1100 that I have spent there to go toward another vehicle elsewhere.

Great Experience for me, dealt with other used car dealers and have found this place to be the most helpful. Office staff is friendly and helpful! Just got a nice truck from them and I love it! Would highly recommend!
