The owner, Charla ***, has removed and blocked me from the group since I requested a refund of the now $800 owed to me by Power 2 Exhale. *** has confirmed we are due a FULL refund for the Bali trip that was to take place April 2020. Charla refunded all but $500 of the total amount paid stating *** charged a $500 fee eventhough they cancelled the flight due to Covid 19. I spoke with *** staff who states that is NOT TRUE. They advised ALL of the group tickets are still open for travel and if not used in 12 months, full monetary refunds would be issued to the travel agent who purchased the tickets. Charla could have CANCELED the trip and received a full refund. Instead, the tickets are in open status and SHE will be issued our full refund in 12 months, as explained to me by *** staff. I also cannot get the $178 refund for the seat upgrade I paid for because she has the tickets open. As I understand it, she attempted to pacify us with a $1500 refund, rather than the full $2000 refund due. In 12 months time, she is able to get back (from ***) the $1500 AND the $500 we are still owed. As well as any monies that have been paid for seat upgrades. I have requested she provide contact info for the travel agent who booked the flights so that we may coordinate the refund of the $500 I am still owed from that trip not including a $178 refund for seat assignment upgrade fee paid. She has answered by blocking me from posting on the groups *** page and ignoring my emails.
I am also owed $100 for 2 deposits of $50 each, I paid for P2E Summit Oct 2020 which has been changed, with good reason, to 2021. However, that time does not work for me. She has not responded to my request for a refund.
I have been trying for months to get my money but am only deleted and blocked rather than issued the refunds I am owed. I have been unemployed since March 2020 due to.Covid 19 and could use the $778 I am owed by Charla *** of Power To Exhale. I would encourage anyone thinking of trusting her with your hard earned money to think again. I would also like my refunds ASAP.
Thanks so much.

Hello Everyone,
I am providing an update on our planned Power to Exhale South Africa Experience for July of 2020.
I am not sure you are aware but the President of South Africa, ***, just issued a travel restriction ban to everyone from the United States meaning if you are from the United States you WILL NOT be allowed entrance into South Africa at this time.
In lieu of that announcement and the 14 to 30 day quarantines that are being demanded when you return to the states from countries like Africa, the Power to Exhale South African trips have been postponed. The CDC issued advisories NOT TO TRAVEL unless it is critical. The Corona Virus is considered a pandemic, and the United States is under a national emergency! They have advised against specific group gatherings and, as a result, churches, schools, major sports leagues and concerts/festivals and so much more have shut down and/or canceled. We decided to follow suit to keep YOU SAFE. And *** just announced that this will not likely be resolved until late July early August. We want to keep you SAFE that is our pledge to you.
As you are all aware, Power to Exhale Travel has a NO REFUND policy in place for all trips. Those are the terms and agreements. But, because WE are postponing this trip for safety reasons, we will absolutely keep 100% of your monies invested completely in tact! In lieu of that decision to postpone, we will not draft any more payments for the South Africa trip until firm dates are in place and you have made your travel date selections.
We are offering a 100% credit for future travel to South Africa in 2021 (specific dates have not been decided) for all of you, but we do plan to have 3 different offerings for South African travel in 2021 so that we can accommodate all of you at a time that works best for you. Here's a heads up: We just want to let you know that Power to Exhale Travel is looking to travel to South Africa in March, July and November 2021
To whom it may concern:The customer is correct. *** of South Africa did issue a ban saying that NO US CITIZENS would be allowed to come into South Africa because of the coronavirus. The coronavirus, as we all are aware, is a pandemic, and the entire world is attempting to deal with the ramifications of this very dangerous virus. For more than a year now, Power to Exhale Travel has been planning an amazing trip for our guests to South Africa. Just two months ago, our guests received the exciting details of the trip. They were given the airline schedules, the hotel accommodations, details of the tours and the intricate details of their intraflights from *** to *** to *** We had everything planned for our guests by the letter day by day that's because we had already paid *** all of the airline companies, the tour company and the hotels for our 300 guests who were traveling with us on this exotic trip. When President *** announced that NO US CITIZENS could come into their country, we immediately decided to call the CDC to get further advice about what we should do for our guests. After much discussion with the CDC, our local government officials, and medical professionals, it was an immediate decision of Power to Exhale Travel to postpone the trip to South Africa. We would have loved to provide all of our guests FULL REFUNDS for the trip. But, that was not an option for us.Travel industry wide, airline companies, hotels, tour companies, rental car companies, are NOT offering refunds to their guests. They are giving them the option to have 100% of the value of their monies invested when it is safe to travel and the various countries have lifted their bans. Emirates, a billion dollar company, told us we could have credits for future travel, but we would not get ANY refunds. If a billion dollar company is sending that message, what is expected of a small business like ours?On top of all of these facts, the client signed our booking terms and conditions when registering for the trip. Before you can register for any trip on our website, you must click the box that says you agree to the terms and agreements of Power to Exhale Travel booking policies. The policy clearly states that there are NO REFUNDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. That's why we highly advise that all of our clients purchase travel insurance to protect their investments. That's because we understand the travel business, and we will be charged for the hotel rooms, the flights, the tours, no matter what.We certainly wish we were in a position to provide this client with a FULL REFUND, but we don't have that option, not only with the South Africa trip but any of the other 22 trips on our schedule for the year 2020. Those are the harsh, ugly facts about the corona virus, and they are facts that cannot be avoided. It's not just happening with Power to Exhale Travel. This is happening with the travel industry globally. We are sorry we could not provide more for this customer. We certainly aim to please. In this situation, our hands are truly tied.***President, Power to Exhale and Power to Exhale Travelwww.powertoexhaletravel.org
