The owner of this company B, promoted himself as a contractor who could provide mutilple services. He replaced a portion of my ceiling and kitchen wall with drywall. I later discovered a bulky line directly at the point of matching up the old ceiling with the new drywall, the seam. I contacted him to find out what happened he was not willing to acknowledge the problem nor that he was responsible for it. He insisted their new wall was not at the seam, I showed him pictures that proved it was as I took before and after pictures. Then he insisted all it needed was paint. At one point he even brought a drywall person to look at it and they said it would have to be completely redone as I have a textured ceiling and he said that was not in the scope to redo it. At this point I said I did not want him to fix it but would only accept a refund. Since the wall was ok and the total cost was $1,295 I told him to just pay me for the wall I would have to replace as my new contractor was going to charge me $900. He refused and said he demanded to fix himself or nothing. I no longer have any confidence in him or his ability to hire professionals to fix my ceiling. In addition I am in the middle of kitchen rebuild and cannot afford to waste time. I took a two week vacation for him to do the work and I will never get that back I have had to miss additional work time. So my final request was for him to give me $700 since he would have to pay someone to fix the wall anyway so just provide customer service and let me move forward and fix myself. He refused.
