I purchased a Ford fliter engine from Powersource 1/years ago and I placed the order through Josh The engine went in and was operating perfectly So when the tranny went out I spoke with Josh and purchased it through him The tranny arrived without certain parts and was quickly replaced after about a year and a half, the drive went out in the tranny I was really hesitant having to deal with most companies warranties and what hoop I might have to jump through Can I say, the process couldn't have easier Thank You Josh and Powersource Forever a customer and you certainly made an impression on the shop replacing it

I found to be very pleased with this company Built on order which explains the time frame I read the negative comment and was shocked, if only he had a little more patience he would have not only received an reliable engine but a better one We were extremely satisfied and will recommend to anyone We already recommended to a mechanic who plans on using them from now on Our mechanic was super pleased with the way it arrived Deposit was fully refunded Thank you so much Tony and Rhonda

WowGreat engineVery complete engine that is extremely well thought out and well built

sometimes investigating a product helps in the purchasei looked at everything and about everybody for a ford ranger enginethe con-{negative} on this site is what sold me besides the price and warranty, it was how long and how much josh went through with a customer returning a core that convinced me if I bought a bad engine somehow he would work with me on a fair and honest settlement..and when I talked to him a few times I was glad to talk to someone who liked there job and wanted to provide me with that service..the engine is installed and every warrant rule followed and a few extra..and the new power steering unit installed with other new items etcis louder than the engine..smooth running, amazing on gas, and I have the feeling that was the engine I was looking for...I would happily do return business with them or they would be the first I check with before someone else if I needed another engine for another vehicle..oh the truck engine has now 15,miles on the engine and I see it going along way...also said I would post this ...the only thing , only one con I had was that was the automated core number return , it said it would call me back and did not , but called josh and then recieved a call from a live person to pick it up...did love the engine delivered to my home address and core pick up there as well

I was charged full price plus $450 core charge for a 5.4 l 3v engine from power source on April 3rd. I'm sure I ordered it 2 weeks before that but have nothing to prove it. I was told the engine would be shipped in 3-4 weeks. It is now may 19 and I spoke with a power source and was told the engine would take at least another 2 weeks to be shipped. I told them to refund my money so I can order it from another company. Meanwhile I have been paying for a rental car for over 2 months. I do not understand why any company would charge a customer for an engine & core almost 7 weeks before the engine is shipped. I am extremely unsatisfied with this company, and would not recommend using them. I am still waiting for my $ to be refunded. When I told him I wanted a refund he simply said that's fine I have it sold already. I find the company to be very unprofessional and in organized. The company Have since ordered from today will be shipping it tomorrow.

Powersource here. Being curious about this negative review, we searched all our payment and credit transactions for the dates specified and found nothing that matched this claim. This sounds like something that happened during the covid panic. However, during that time, it was our practice to simply take a $100 deposit and put the order in for the customer. When the engine was ready to ship, we would contact the customer to insure they still wanted it, collect the balance and ship the engine. We did this for the simple reason that merchants are charged 2 - 2.5 percent of the charge for processing fees, and we would lose about $90 when someone cancelled an order if it was paid in full. Given that nothing in our financials matches any of this claim, we're certain this person was dealing with one of our competitors.

I purchased a 98 Ford f150 4.2 liter engine from Powersource 2 1/2 years ago and I placed the order through Josh. The engine went in and was operating perfectly. So when the tranny went out I spoke with Josh and purchased it through him. The tranny arrived without certain parts and was quickly replaced. after about a year and a half, the drive went out in the tranny. I was really hesitant having to deal with most companies warranties and what hoop I might have to jump through. Can I say, the process couldn't have easier. Thank You Josh and Powersource. Forever a customer and you certainly made an impression on the shop replacing it.

Just got my engine running from PowerSource. It was everything and more that they promised. I will buy more engines from them as I need them. I do wish the gasket kit did include the gaskets for the watercross over as it was essential to the installation. On the bright side all the rest of the gaskets were there and it was a smooth installation.
