Complaint # *** regarding *** ***In response to Mr***’s complaint, we would like to relate the actions taken by Power Shack Gym. Upon his request to cancel he was refunded the amount he had paid upfront, $19.32. The monthly payment of $was to be automatically
paid by our billing company, AAC. The person in charge of billing never received the notification to cancel AAC, so in an oversight, that monthly payment was not cancelled for monthsThis led to the consumer receiving collection letters. When the office realized this, they made sure that the ***s were taken off of the credit bureau reporting as of June 21, We realize this was a major inconvenience to the ***s, and are sorry for the oversight. The result of this is that they are not out of pocket for any expenses, and have no negative report with the credit bureau.We will be sending them a 3-month complimentary membership which we hope will compensate for our error.Regards,Power Shack Gym614-771-7939www.powershackgym.com

thatcoincided with his accusationWe have investigated every option on our end to try todiscover whether Power Shack had any responsibility for this charge:*There are no charges on our business credit card transactions that match hisclaim.*We use a 3rd party billing company (***) for membership charges and theyconcurred that there were no records, based on his name, to substantiate hisclaim.*He does not appear on our database as either a present or past member.He has not presented us any documentation to substantiate that a transaction waseven made by our credit card machineIn order to thoroughly investigate thesuggestion that we misused his credit card, our only remaining option is to match hiscredit card information through our 3rd billing party agency to see if another party mayhave wrongly used his credit card number to purchase a membershipHowever, he willnot release this information to us.As much as we sympathize with his situation, our hands are tied at this point as wehave no records that show that Power Shack is involved in this claim.Regards,Power Shack Fitness Centers
