Terrible experience. The sales guy knocked at my door and continued to keep talking for a good half hour until I finally agreed to a quote, just to get him away from my house. He demanded I make the appointment right then and there for the estimate, which I cancelled. Now his company won't stop calling me. It's been months. I've asked several times to be taken off the call list, I've cussed them out, and I've threatened to call the police and file harassment charges. Now they just call daily and hang up on me when I answer. They refuse to let me speak to a supervisor. I asked for the guys name on the phone and all he would tell me is his name is Jared, and that I can put his name into the police report. I filed a police report anyways and will call a lawyer if I have to. What a terrible way to conduct business.

I am rejecting this response because: It fails to meet the demand I stated in my original complaint. Power Home Remodeling never obtained my consent to opt in to any prescreened program, to obtain a credit report, or share any data with any other companies. Therefore, it is not my responsibility to opt out. Power Home Remodeling deliberately deceived me into thinking I was consenting to scheduling a date for a free estimate only. The consequences of this deceptive practice are Power's alone to mitigate. Furthermore, the mailer states that in addition to opting in for Power Home Remodeling's program, that they may share or sell the information with "other companies."

I will never use this company again. They have terrible customer service and tell lies. They don't do as they say they are going to and way over priced. Should of nevery used them. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

I am rejecting this response because: I cannot understand how our address in the [redacted] Community in Downingtown could conflict with what you have on record given that you should have a record of our previous complaints and your representative walked up to our house directly. That would mean that the representative did not note our desire not to be contacted and report it back to you as we requested for at least the third or fourth time. This doesn't cause me to have much faith in your ability to avoid contacting us again. Our address is [redacted]. This is our last effort to stop any solicitation from your firm using any modality. Any additional attempts at solicitation will result in legal action and engagement of the Pennsylvania Attorney General.

Dear Mr. [redacted].
At Power Home Remodeling Group we strive to create a
gratifying remodeling experience. Our
mission is to provide our clients with the finest energy-saving systems which
will enhance their lives, their homes and their futures. I am sorry to hear about your continued dissatisfaction. I have reviewed your complaint and personally looked into the matter. The roof was supplied and installed as contracted in
the fall of 2013. We installed a [redacted]
ridge vent for ventilation purposes. The
manufacturer’s installation instructions specifically state the vent should not be installed
along the entire length of the ridge.
The ridge vent that was installed on your neighbor’s home is a [redacted] ridge vent. It is paired with
the PowerVent intake system located at the eaves. This system was not available at the time
your roof was replaced. Additionally,
you were not charged for an intake vent as part of your remodeling
project.
If you would like us to install this type of
ventilation system, we would be happy to do so for a small fee. If you
decide to move forward with the installation of the Power Vent, please contact
me directly, via the information noted below.

Dear [redacted],Thank you for taking the time to write to us about your experience. I’m sorry to hear you are frustrated with the final product. I have reviewed your complaint and personally looked into the matter. Rest assured, the condensation on the exterior of the glass...
is not a call for concern. We do however, guarantee water vapor will not develop between the panes of glass.Following our recent service visit to inspect the windows, it was determined that the condensation on the windows is due to high humidity levels in your home. Our energy efficient windows are designed to keep air from passing through and around them. This weathertight seal prevents drafts, which work to keep warm air in the home and cold air outside. When warm air from within the home comes in contact with the much cooler surface of the glass, water vapor is drawn out of the air, leaving water droplets along the lower edge of the glass. This means the water vapor has reached its dew point, or the point at which water can no loner be suspended in the air as vapor and turns into a liquid. This is the same effect that takes place when you remove a cold soda can from the refrigerator on a warm day. We advise identify and eliminating the root cause of the moisture in your home. This may be as simple as turning down the humidistat on your forced air heating system or ensuring your home has proper ventilation.I would be happy to further discuss this matter with you. Please contact me directly, via the information noted below.Respectfully,Eamon L[redacted]Warranty Service DirectorPower Home Remodeling O: [redacted]PowerHRG.com
HORRIBLE. Stay far away. initial salesman appointment was for 7pm. his "presentation" lasted FOUR hours. when we finally managed to kick him out at midnight I should have realized something was off about these guys. There was a funny moment when he wanted to inspect the attic. Upon returning he claimed to not be able to breathe and that we had mold up there and he was highly allergic. We had to get the roof replaced ASAP, he wheezed, it was a matter of life and death. He then proceeded to use our bathroom to wash his face and compose himself. Amusing, since we do not have such an issue in the attic. We do, however, have a mold issue in the bathroom, where he emerged perfectly fine, no worse for the wear from his ordeal in the attic (lol). Despite this nonsense, and after much deliberation, we decided to give them a shot at a large project (roof and siding) through financing they had arranged. Liked the technology they were using and the lifetime guarantee seemed appealing.
The initial guy hands the project over to a "project coordinator" who sends a site inspector out. He stayed for 3 hours and decided that before they could begin, we needed to make some improvements to the deck and chimney first, otherwise they couldn't offer the lifetime warranty. They offered no help in recommending someone to perform this work, but despite that I get it completed and the inspector comes out again. by this time the financing offer had expired. Anticipating this, I contacted them weeks earlier and told them they'd need to extend the financing offer. Impossible they say (this is where I point out that their financing guy is patently incompetent). no big deal I thought, just get another loan (credit is quite good). offered me a new financing offer at an outrageous 18% interest + a lien on the house. um, no thanks.
To boot, the paperwork they sent contained documents they required me to sign in which I agree that all work has been completed 100% to my satisfaction. They didn't lift a finger on the project, but they wanted me to sign paperwork saying I was completely satisfied with their work and that they were under no further obligation to me as part of the loan conditions. again, no. All the while they were rude, dismissive and unwilling/unable to follow up properly. These guys are crooks through and through. They are highly deceptive and rely on intense pressure and scare tactics to make deals. I have no doubt that the workers actually performing the work are good at what they do and the project would have been completed to my satisfaction. The issue with this company is the deceptive practices, lies, high-pressure tactics and general incompetence of their office personnel.
I pride myself on honest reviews, so I stand by my statements here. My sincere and strong advice to anyone looking to do business with these criminals is to run the other way and get someone local. As a final FYI, their project cost was $40,000. Our local contractor was able to do it for less than half of that, and I trust them FAR more. It's times like these that I wish I could award zero stars, but if I could warn just one person to stay away from Power Home Remodeling, the one star will have been worth it. You've been warned

We had Power Home Remodeling come and put in new windows on half our house. We were extremely happy with the windows and the crew working on the house. They came when they said they would, cleaned up after, and we're done by 4:00 PM! We are already planning to have them come back to do the rest of the. Windows and the soffits and gutters!! I would HIGHLY recommend them!

I am rejecting this response because: the issue is not yet resolved. A repair man from Power is coming to my home on Thursday afternoon. After he examines and fixes or does not fix the leak, I can recommend closing or not closing the matter. Please allow me a few more days to resolve the issue.

I haven't had a lot of experience with contractors but this company was very professional from beginning to end. I had my windows replaced. They arrived to my home within the time frame that was given. They called to let me know when they were on their way. They cleaned up behind themselves and walk through with me and explained how to clean the windows and operate them. I was so pleased with their work, I'm also getting gutters and an entry door installed. I'll be doing another review on how that installation goes as well. Overall, I am pleased with their service and employees.
We had a front Bow window replaced by Power Home Remodeling and they did a fantastic job, from start to finish. Everyone from sales rep to install tech to contractor were very professional and treated us kindly. Andre, the install tech was great! He paid close attention to detail and I could tell he was proud of his work. Would 100% recommend them to anyone. Not pushy and I would definitely use again. Thanks Power!

have lead to the credit inquiry. Power

Once
again, we apologize that this happened in the first place and I’m sorry for the
length of time it has taken to get this resolved.
