The service at this dealership/service department is so terrible, I am not even sure where to start-- if negative 5 stars were available, that would be my rating.I Started noticing some fuel system related issues (Sputtering, hesitation during acceleration, extream loss of fuel efficiency trouble starting etc...) about a month ago, my Husband said "hmm. sounds like the fuel pump is going out" -- so rather than removing the back seat and doing the work ourselves (which is the route we should have taken), I had my 2013 Nissan Altima towed to Post Falls Nissan. I explained the issues, and was told they would look at it and give me a call back. When I received that call, the Service Tech, Gavin, said "we found your problem! You have a very dead battery"-- My Response was "I'm sure I do, but I know that isn't my main issue. I'd Like you to check my fuel system please". I was called back later and told all was well, they test drove it, and couldn't find anything else wrong with the car. $262.00.
I noticed the same issues the next morning on my way to work, on the way home that day my check engine light came back on-- Called Nissan, they told me the light wasn't on when I picked it up. OF COURSE NOT, YOU JUST REPLACED THE BATTERY, WHICH RESETS THOSE LIGHTS FOR ABOUT 50 MILES (I had to tell them this). When I brought it back (at this point, my brand new battery and terminals have an excessive amount of corrosion for new equipment???), they "covered the diognostics" to look at it again, and I paid another $423.00 for an O2 sensor to be replaced. I was told the car was running top notch, and I could come get it -- didn't mention the mess on my new battery, or the fact that I needed an oil change, and due for a transmission flush on the transmission I had replaced at this shop in May 2017 ($3700.00 not related to this complaint. Now, on a side note, every place I have ever taken my car for a Diagnostic, they go through the entire car, fluids and all.
we had a bad wreck and was left without transportation. nissan of post falls was only one at the time said they could approve me for a car. but the car was too small no safety features or extras. they had me sign contract and gave me a rental car stating they would not charge me for it. I told them I couldnt afford a rental. they kepy my downpayment checks for a good 3 weeks waiting on stipulations to be ment for their finance company. And that we that the insurance pay off the old car in total. Then I found out later that between my insurance and gap payments to wsecu I was still going to owe 2900 on the car. that day I was contacted by gee buick in liberty lake, they got me into a vehicle that had more value and no stipulations. I went over to nissan that same day and canceled contract but I found out when I got home that they cashed my check the same day for 1000 dollars without me obtaining a car. I called them to explain the situation and at first they where going to give it back but then andrew in finance was really rude to me and told me they where keeping it for rental cost. this is outrageous and the nw justice of idaho will not take this type of case. I can not afford an attorney which nissan knows this and we despirately need this money back or most of it. this is an entire months wages for me, I can not make up for it. I felt they took advantage of my situation and was never going to get me in that car anyway. thank you so much for your help.
