Portlandia Moving & Junk Removal LLC

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: As noted in my original complaint. This Portlandia moving & junk co. was paid to shrink wrap my paintings carefully because of the value of the paintings. These instructions were given to the owner of the moving & junk co. before they ever started the moving or packing! 
The bottom line, which the owner fails to acknowledge, is the two helpers [the owner was not present at the time of the move] wrapped and loaded all the paintings.
A couple of painting were damaged beyond repair. Plus 2 soiled ottomans.
The damage was not because of the driving, but because of the poorly packed truck. Portlandia moving & junk did not drive the truck, I did.
Also, a large blue ceramic vase, and propane BBQ were left behind. They were not even packed into the truck. Value $400.00!
 
I have doubt at this time, Portlandia moving & junk IS NOT A LEGITIMATE business!!

We were hired to only pack the truck.  We met the consumer at his apartment.  He had the U-Haul truck with his car already attached.  We were only hired to pack the truck.  We did not pack any boxes.  The damage occurred in transit.  We did not drive the truck....

 Again, we were only hired to load the U-Haul.
