Review: My wife and I purchased a Gold Crown Resort membership (agreement #[redacted]) for $2,500 in July of 2011, which included two "free" round trip airfares anywhere in the continental US and two "free" 7-night cruises on Carnival or Norwegian from the continental US.After over a year-long ordeal, we finally received refunds of our deposits for the "free" airfares and cruises from VIP Travel Reservations, Inc., which Portfolio to Paradise used to administer the airfare and cruise program. VIP stalled and delayed service over the course of the year and eventually found no availability to offer either the airfare or cruise. In the beginning, my wife spent two months going back and forth with [redacted] of PTP to try and resolve our issues with VIP. Todd even acknowledged the poor service that VIP was providing and alluded that PTP would no longer use them. However, the assistance from PTP stopped, and we were on our own for almost a year trying to claim what we were promised by PTP as part of our membership. Not only did we not receive the "free" airfare and cruise incentives from PTP, but our time and efforts were totally consumed by the ordeal with VIP for over a year. In fact, we have not even used our Gold Crown Resort membership once since we purchased it.Desired Settlement: We would like our $2,500 payment to PTP refunded.

Response:
Portfolio to Paradise offers a wonderful incentive in the form of an airline and cruise travel voucher for 2 guests who attend our 90 minute presentation, among other gifts. The gifts are contracted out to a promotional company whom is a complete separate entity of Portfolio to Paradise.
