Review: I purchased a product from this merchant on **-jun-2015 via telephone. Upon the discussion, [redacted] stated that I was to a receive a shipping quote when the product I purchased was ready for delivery. Merchant verbally stated that I would be contacted either via email or telephone to provide me with a shipping quote. Merchant never contacted me and charged an irrational amount of shipping charge of $70 to my credit card without me ever receiving the quote. Merchant rejects complaint after emailing the individual that took my order over the phone. Merchant claims that I should have asked for quote even though she verbally told me that a quote was to be provided. This is unprofessional and unethical as an excessive amount was charged to my credit card. I believe I was scammed and charged an amount I never authorized for shipping charges only; as I agreed to purchase the product, but never received a shipping quote to authorize the shipping charge. This merchant rejected my complaint, showed no compassion, admitted no wrongdoing although it was completely mishandled on merchant's behalf. I feel that justice should be served to this merchant as they are abusing their ability to charge me whatever they want for shipping of the product without authorization.Desired Settlement: I am more than willing to discuss with merchant the entire situation from the beginning and come to an agreement in which both parties are satisfied. I believe re-evaluating shipping charge and getting either written or verbal consent by me, the consumer, is fair and justified.
