Pomona West Apartments

We have provided a copy of a video to show how cleaned we left the apartment. Attached screen shots from the video to show how cleaned the apartment was left. Also, hired a professional to cleaned the carpets with approval from the Management Office. Our security deposit showed deductions for carpet cleaning, 8 hours of cleaning the place, and broken blinds. However, our video showed a cleaner apartment than received and some blinds still intact and appeared unbroken. Initially, the management office agreed to reimburse the cleaning carpet charge and requested that we change our review on Yelp. We further requested for the reimbursement of cleaning the apartment. They counter offered, we agreed but have not heard from them. During the this dispute process, they finally provided the mold test results which showed a signs of mold. At first the Office manager had stated multiple times that there was no mold and now the management office minimized the results. I strongly recommend to another place. And there is nothing upscale about these apartments. You pay for what you get.

I am rejecting this response because:  As you can see from the enclosed photo, this is where my television was and there is no miscoloration of paint anywhere.  Furthermore, the documentation I received from you stated that you were charging random small amounts for "paint touchup" throughout the room, and I have many pictures to present to a judge if it goes this route.   As for the carpet, it was perfectly clean, and if you choose to steam clean your carpet again after I move out, it is part of your procedure and expense in getting a unit ready for rental for next tenant, which again, should not be taken out of my security deposit.  If you do not return the full remaining amount of the security deposit, we can settle the matter before a judge in small claims court.
