Polished Images Day Spa

Review: I was given a gift certificate for [redacted] Day Spa which indicates no expiration date. I have used part of the value and had $254.00 remaining to be used. When I tried today to schedule more services I was told the Day Spa went out of business a few months ago. However, the website is still up and active and the company, [redacted], continues to send me promotions and ads. They are now limited to hair and nail services but will not honor the gift certificate which was for the former day spa part of the business. It appears to me that it is the same business, using the same name, and although they have limited their services they should still honor the gift certificate balance with either the current services or with a refund.Desired Settlement: I would prefer a refund of the balance remaining on the gift certificate, to be issued to the person who purchased the gift certificate as a gift for me.
