Review: In may of 2013, I entered into an agreement with Augie's Auto Body ( [redacted] ), in [redacted], Pa. to refurbish my son's 1992 [redacted]. The original agreement was for $3000.00 and it would take one month. They were given a list of work to be done and they agreed. It took a month and a half and cost $4000.00. Most importantly, the front nose on the vehicle needed to be replaced. per agreement. When we finally picked up the vehicle, we discovered the nose wasn't replaced, but repaired.( the cost of the replacement was approximately $450 ) When we asked them about it, they lied to us. When I asked to see the OLD nose, he said " I already threw it away" ( another lie ) When I showed the fiberglass patchwork that had been mickey-moused and asked to see the receipt for the replacement, they continued to lie about it. Finally, after much discussion, they admitted lying and gave us a flimsy excuse and asked for forgiveness. Now, their business cards read " HONESTY,INTEGRITY & QUALITY"! They also didn't paint the inside of driver's mirror, didn't completely screw in some ground effects, and didn't undercoat the vehicle, which was part of the agreement. They didn't buy everything ( new parts ) they were supposed to, but instead mickey-moused some electrical parts. We had to later spend more of our money to have the work finished by someone else. There are other problems ( too many to mention ) now, but if anyone would like to know more, I would be glad to tell you! My son and I worked very hard to save up the money to restore the vehicle, and for this man ( [redacted] )to take advantage of a 21 year old college student,and lie to him repeatedly, is just wrong in so many ways. He also comes across as a Religious man, so he says. What kind of a Religious man does this? My son and I are very disappointed in him and their work. I will never take another vehicle to him and will never give him a good reference. And, if asked, I will tell everyone what he did to us! Please ask him to make things right.Desired Settlement: They need to replace the front nose and paint it, paint the mirror, fix ground EFX, fix locking device on drivers door and shoddy paint job, rear window defroster, fix driving ( fog ) lights, fix retractable headlight motors ( that were both supposed to be replaced and weren't )drivers door cup holder and everything else wrong ( which we have told him about ) plus pay us back for materials we bought and the work we had done elsewhere.
