TBefore install was done we spoke with the customer and sent him a proposal for *** equipment, due to the measurements of *** air handler and closet door not being wide enough, we spoke with customer by phone to revise the proposal and changed *** air handler to a *** Air handler customer
was aware and agreed verbally to changeWhen the revised proposal went out to customer it was sent out with *** instead of *** name with the correct model # of *** air handler on it which clearly was an error on our end but unintentionalThe proposal was signed and returned via emailWe tried contacting customer because payment had not been made, when he then made the accusations of bait and switchWe offered “several times” to install a *** air handler, but the customer would have to get a carpenter to expand door way for the *** air handler to fit at his expense and he refusedThe cost for expansion of the door way is an additional cost which was not on proposalI offered to put back the original equipment at no cost to him, since he had not paid for the equipment that had been installedHe then responded by saying he would get back with me and after a couple hours I had my admin assistant make several attempts to contact the customer to see how we could resolve this issueThis issue has been resolved customer was given a reduced price and has decided to stay with the *** high efficiency air handler and paid his reduced invoice in full Strong Tower strives on good customer service to all our customers.ell us why here
