Review: I purchased a Chefman My Barista coffeemaker which only made about six cups of coffee before it stopped functioning. It is still under warranty. I have a receipt. I talked to Corporate Headquarters on Monday June [redacted]. I was told I would receive an email and it would be a form that I should fill out. I was told to send the completed form, along with the (cut off) electrical cord from the appliance to the address on the form. I never received an email. I have called back but only receive voice mail. This company also owns Prestige XS which helps "manage inventory and eliminate inventory and eliminate capital waste." I suspect it was this company that marketed this inferior product via Tuesday Morning where I purchased it. Due to the nature of Tuesday Morning, they do not take back electronic products and tell you to contact the manufacturer. This has not resolved the issue. My complaints are being ignored rather than addressed.Desired Settlement: I had agreed to a replacement coffeemaker but in light of the fact that they have not sent me the email form they said they would, I would like a full refund.
Review: December **, 2014Called warrenty at RJ Brands to get a Christmas gift covered under warrenty.Was told that was no problem. Was emailed Merchandise_Return_Form. The person on the phone told me to cut the cord off my coffee brewer and send it in to the following address.I have complied with all the nessary requirements they asked for to have my warrenty done.Now she emails me back and tells me shes want an additional $40 to send me the coffee brewer.I already purchased the item. Had to pay top rate to ship cord with tracking number. And Now they want me to pay for it to be shipped to me again. This shipping amount was never mentioned before.Even if I took the coffee brewer to the store I purchased it from; that store probable wont give me my money back because I cut the cord off.Desired Settlement: I would like my replacement coffee brewer.Shipped to me in a timely fashion at the companies expence.As I was first lead on to believe, was going to happen.
