While the amount owed has been resolved, I still do not have anything stating that the work was done and the amount paid. I need an actual receipt or bill, or something for taxes and for when I want to sell this property. I have sent him a message reminding him of this and requesting a basic one (obviously he cannot give me a detailed one since they lost all my paper work)
