To Whom It May Concern;

On September 24, 2015, I have called your office to inquire about the cost to replace a washer for the work done on September 15, 2015. The invoice received was $335.61 for 2 washers @ 119.00 (extremely high) and the $59.00 service fee (no issue on this fee) plus tax.

According to Chris, who happens to be the technician who also did the work, it is company policy that work does not start unless the work is estimated and work is authorized and signed for. When work is completed, a second signature is requested to accept the work performed. Since I was not the person present at the time, I needed to speak to [redacted] who signed the work order.

[redacted]'s recollection of that day when Chris arrived, he was advised that repair required is for Unit *. Chris went to Unit * and proceeded to replace the washer for the front and back hose bib taking 10 minutes each. He then returned to [redacted] (Unit **) and asked for two signatures on a blank invoice. [redacted] have then commented that "I hope you did a good job!" and in good faith signed the blank form with no knowledge that it will cost the corporation 119.00 for one washer.

It is very disappointing that the story told over the phone was not the truth. Despite the excessive cost charged and the ill-mannered staff on the phone, payment of $335.61 (invoice [redacted]) is attached to demonstrate that money is secondary to the real issue. I sincerely hope that customers that do not have the means are not subjected to the same experience.

It is very sad that in addition to your extortionate prices, the work ethics was also very poor. The cost of the repair will be long forgotten but the way you make your customer feel will definitely linger for a long time.
