I don't want to give it any stars! My wife went to Stanford valley care with an acute ear infection - a RN saw her for less than 30 seconds and prescribed an antibiotics - Stanford send me an invoice for $350 and Pleasonton Emerg Medical group sent me another invoice for $445 dollars! This is ridiculous for a 30 sec visit - and that also with a RN - please avoid these people

Review: on 4/29/14 I went to valley memorial hospital urgent care because a blood vessel in my ankle burst and would not stop bleeding. I received two stitches and a tetanus shot. I was there less than an hour. In the mail, I received two bills for that hospital visit. One bill for $350.00 from pleasanton emergency med group4301 north star way modesto ca 95356. Another bill for $4731.00 from valleycare health system 1111 e. Stanley blvd livermore ca 94550i think these amounts are excessive for the service rendered. Desired settlement: I would like a claim filed with my insurance carrier.

I received a letter from you concerning a complaint filed with your bureau concerning a billing issue from the billing service our emergency medical group uses. I was not the treating physician for this patient. According to the letter the desired settlement for this disputed bill was to bill his insurance carrier. According to the chart the patient did not provide any insurance information to our facility thus he was billed directly. I have contacted our billing service who has agreed to contact the patient directly to obtain insurance information and then process the claim.
