We had our Patagonia warehouse ship a coat to the customer via USPS We do offer free shipping on orders over $ We do offer other forms of shipping such as expedited for an extra charge No where on our site is it stated that we offer signature required (we would be happy to
ship with a signature required if a customer were to ask) The customer contacted us to tell us she had not received the coat The tracking label stated it had been delivered so we opened a case with USPS; nothing has become of the case as of yet with them We did ask the customer if she checked with her neighbors and around the house in the bushes just in case someone else received it or if it blew off the porch The customer stated she didn't trust her neighbors since she lived in a college area We recommended to the customer that she contact the police department to report stolen property and to also check with her home insurance to see if they cover stolen property We offered to the customer that we could sell her another jacket at our cost plus shipping We could not refund her since it was not our fault it was missing/stolen We did our part to get her the jacket
