Mr. [redacted] parked his vehicle in a Subway only parking space and admitted to going to another business to pick up his food order.  There are signs posted in the lot as well as the parking stall has it painted on the ground that the parking stall is Subway Parking Only.  There are many other...

parking spaces that Mr. [redacted] could have parked his vehicle in that weren't "reserved".  Our attendant did not have the conversation with Mr. [redacted] that he describes in his complaint.  It just didn't happen.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The statement by Platinum Parking is false. I was never asked for any information regarding my identity, my car, the location where the fee was issued or any other information. If the representative had asked me for any information, I would have supplied it - I had no reason not to. I had told him I handed this 'notice' at Big 'D' Towing the previous night. The response from Platinum Parking stating that I didn't supply any information is because I was never asked for any information. At this point if my information was relevant but I wasn't asked for it, I'm wondering how Platinum Parking didn't have a record of the 'notice'. I did tell the representative that I had been handed the 'notice' by Big 'D' Towing the previous night. I asked the representative what this fee was for and he kept relying while getting more and more impatient and hostile with me, that he "didn't care" if I paid it or not. I had no reason to be upset or 'belligerent' because I was being told by Platinum Parking's representative that I had the choice (by way of saying he "didn't care" if I paid it or not) of paying the fee or not, I had no cause or reason to be upset. It made me wonder if this 'notice' was a valid fee since according to the representative it was my choice of paying the 'notice' or not. When the representative would not tell me what the fee was for I asked him why he was yelling at me since I was calling to inquire as to what this fee was for. The representative replied "Because I get bogus calls like this all the time". He continued to only say he "didn't care" if I paid the fee or not. When I asked the representative for his name so I could reference the representative I spoke with about this, he told me "My name is irrelevant".  When I reiterated that it was my understanding that it was my choice/prerogative to pay this fee or not, he said one more time that he "didn't care" if I paid it or not, then said "I'm done with this call" and hung up on me. Since the representative did not, according to the last response issued, know any information about the 'notice' and I was handed this 'notice' at the Big 'D' Towing lot, I'm wondering who actually issued this 'notice'. It was handed to me by  the representative at Big 'D' Towing which makes me question where the 'notice' was generated since Platinum Parking had no information on my identity, my vehicle, ect. Sincerely,[redacted]

Ms. [redacted]'s vehicle was parked in a private property parking lot in Greenwood.  (We have included a couple of pictures taken of her vehicle while parked in the lot.)  Her vehicle was parked in a [redacted] Only reserved parking space and was not inside [redacted].  The parking attendant who...

was working that parking lot that day took pictures of Ms. [redacted]'s vehicle and issued the vehicle a parking notice.  The parking notice was placed on the windshield of the vehicle at that time.45 - 60 days after the incident occurred, we mailed out a dunning letter to the registered owner (Ms. [redacted]) of the vehicle informing them of the outstanding debt that is owed since we had not received payment.  This is the Final Notice that Ms. [redacted] is referring to.  There are signs posted at the entrance to the parking lot informing drivers that the parking lot is monitored.  There are signs posted throughout the parking lot informing drivers of the terms and conditions of parking in the lot.  Every reserved parking stall is painted on the ground that the parking space is reserved.

We are sorry that Mr. [redacted] is rejecting our response.  We are including a picture of Mr. [redacted]’ vehicle in the parking lot.  As you can see, he is parked within 15 feet of one of the many signs posted.  The parking lot is private property and requires payment to park.  It’s unfortunate that Mr. [redacted] did not pay for parking.

We do not issue the parking permits. We do not have access to the vehicle plate information.  We are a separate entity from the management company.

Everyone is required to display the parking permit they were given by the management company.  This was explained to the renter at the time the permit was given to them.  Most everyone is in compliance with the policy. Why was [redacted] son not in compliance?  There are always potential ramifications for not following the rules.  Again, these are not our rules.  We are simply enforcing the management's rules.

Ms. [redacted] was parked in a commercial pay lot and did not pay for parking.  This is why she was issued the parking notice.  It wasn't because she needed to be a Piper Village patron to be parked there.  There are numerous signs posted throughout the parking lot informing her that the...

parking lot is a pay lot; including a six foot sign at the entrance to the parking lot.

It is Mr. [redacted] who is to blame for this incident.  We were polite to Mr. [redacted] on the phone and it was Mr. [redacted] who started swearing at us and calling us names.Mr. [redacted] parked in a commercial pay lot and did not put any money into the pay box.  We have pictures taken of the...

[redacted]DOCUMENT ATTACHED[redacted]
November 21,  20 l 6Revdex.comP.O. Box  I000 Dupont, W A 98327RE: ID #** [redacted]Dear Revdex.com:We arc I n receipt of your letter regarding the above referenced ID and our response is as follows:[redacted] parked  his...

vehicle on private property in a "Subway Parking Only" parking space.  When our attendant came by to check on those designated Subway Only parking spaces our attendant went inside the Subway store and asked everyone who was inside the store if their car was parked outside.  No one claimed to park in any of the designated parking spaces.  Our attendant then checked the bathrooms and no one was in either bathroom.  Our attendant then went out and t icketed [redacted] vehicle as he was not inside Subway or anywhere on the premises.Upon [redacted] return from wherever he was, he saw the parking notice on his windshield and went into Subway and purchased a cookie to verify to us that he was a customer after the fact.  I tis purchase was made 16 minutes after his car had been ticketed.

You were issued a parking notice because you parked your vehicle in a [redacted] only parking space and were not in [redacted].  Your complaint states that you went next door to go to the ATM and then went to [redacted] which admits that you were parked in a [redacted] Only parking space and were somewhere other than [redacted].  We have included pictures taken of your vehicle while it was parked in one of the [redacted] only parking spaces. There are many other parking spaces that you can park in that are not designated for a particular business.  There are only 3 [redacted] parking spaces in the entire parking lot.  Additionally, you were not in [redacted] as our attendant went inside the store and asked everyone inside if it was their vehicle.  The attendant even checked the bathrooms. As we stated before, after checking inside the [redacted] store to see if you were there, going outside to issue the parking notice including taking the pictures, the attendant then places the parking notice under the wiper blade of your vehicle.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  The attendant ticketed the car within a minute of my arrival.  I assumed that the disability spots would be signed since many disabled would not be able to walk around the lot or even read while driving.  The lot had just changed to pay although the parking company would not return my calls to tell me the specific date it was switched over.  I offered the company $10.00 as a parking fee to accept and resolve the complaint since there were multiple factors in the innocent mistake.  However, it may take a Dept of Justice inquiry to find out if the disabled spots were signed properly.Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  I did indeed go into the [redacted].  It does not state on the parking spot that you are not able to grab cash at an ATM prior to going to making a purchase.  I will never go to this [redacted] again and will also submit a complaint regarding what this [redacted] does to their customers.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] parked his car in a commercial pay lot.  He stated that he went to the sign to find out how to pay for parking and then went inside the Century Link store to complete his payment online.  When he saw our attendant standing behind his vehicle issuing the parking notice he came...

out of the store and complained about only being gone a short time, not that he was inside trying to complete the online purchase of his parking. We suggested that Mr. [redacted] stay near his parked car until he has completed paying for parking.  That way there is no misunderstanding.

RE: ID #[redacted]; [redacted]
Dear Revdex.com:
We are in receipt of your letter regarding the above referenced ID and our response is asfollows:
Ms. [redacted]’s complaint is that she did not receive an answer to her question. Here is ourresponse:
Ms. [redacted] called our office, did not identify herself nor did she provide us with anyinformation as to where she received the parking notice, what date she received it, etc. We can’tanswer her questions as to what the parking notice was issued for if we don’t know the parkingnotice number or vehicle license plate number. The parking notices that we issue includes theviolation, date and time, and location that it occurred. Ms. [redacted] has the answer to all of herquestions as it is printed on the parking notice that she received.
When she called our office, she was belligerent and immediately asked what authority wehave to issue tickets. We informed her that she was not issued a “ticket”. She received a parkingnotice from us. She then asked if she had to pay the “parking notice” and we told her yes. Sheagain asked under what authority do we have to issue parking notices and we told her.
Sincerely,
Platinum Parking, LLC
