Plata Custom Homes, LLC built our home in Canyon Lake, Texas on time and under budget! Hugo ***, general contractor, is very professional and pays a great deal of attention to delivering a quality product. Hugo made several suggestions during the construction process to improve upon our existing plan and add value to our home. We were out of state most of the time during the building of our home and Hugo FaceTimed us daily to keep us updated. The coordination of subcontractors was seamless and because he uses the same subs on most of his jobs; the construction process was streamlined and fine-tuned. Another impressive thing about Hugo is that we never felt like we were being nickele-and-dimed over a few change orders here and there. In fact, because of his resources and relationships with building suppliers and contractors, we came in $10 a square foot under budget and we love our new home! Thanks Hugo for a job well done! Highly recommended!

Be sure to get everything in writing when hiring Hugo Plata. He goes back on his word every single time things are discussed that is not on the contract. He also is very unprofessional, I myself having hired Hugo, had to back out of my contract in spending countless MONTHS (7 to be exact). He could not handle that his finished product on his homes was not up to BRAND NEW HOME standards.
