We were called out to Mr [redacted] home to do some pretty extensive work. It involved cutting and drilling into floors and walls to move water and drain lines. When we get jobs like this we try to give as close of an assessment as possible, sometimes once you get into the walls the scope of work changes...

due to unforeseen issues you couldn't see until you remove the drywall.We have all our trucks on GPS so we know exactly how long our guys are on jobs.On this job our tech had to make a parts list on parts needed for part of the work that aren't normal stock items we carry on our trucks. Do to the length of the job our tech ate his sandwich on the job while he made his parts list then went for the additional parts and was gone for exactly 41 minutes. Normally we don't charge to go get parts, but due to the condition of the job and the type of parts needed our tech thought charging for the extra time was legit. Needless to sat we will be happy to only charge for 4 hours of work since Mr. [redacted] thinks thats reasonable and refund $200.The parts are a different story, indifferent to what Mr. [redacted] thinks, we do pay full retail on all our parts and pay the taxes on those parts at time of purchase. There are no Wholesalers on plumbing parts anymore all the big plumbing parts Distributors that I have been buying parts from for over 35 years of plumbing are more expensive than Home depot. Mr [redacted] also beleives that no contractors buy from Home Depot, every time I go into Home Depot its full of contractors of all different types do to the fact Home Depot has the best prices. Best regards

Thank you for your flexibility. I still believe I was charged 2-4 times the purchase price of the parts. However, I appreciate your willingness to compromise and feel the $200 refund is sufficient.
