Planet fitness closed in march and still charged me for that month. I requested through email that they cancel my membership.
I emailed them to cancel my membership because they are closed and I am working out at home and wanted to continue to do so with the option of coming back to the gym later. I have full filled my contract and they even charged me for march when they were closed. They refuse to cancel my membership via email. I know that have done it for others. They told me I had to wait till they open to cancel. I told them not to charge my card. I just want to cancel my membership.

For the membership of ***, she was billed for the month of March based on the membership agreement she signed on 9/25/2018. Membership agreement states that she would have to cancel by the 10th of that month before being billed on 3/17/20. We are actively reaching out to Ms. currently to see if there is anyway we can make up that March monthly fee for her.

The company has not responded to me and there was no way to cancel the account they were closed. I want my money back for march because they were closed due to covid.

I was charged for multiple months 2-3 times per month via ACH and Debit card. I disputed the case after showing my statements to planet fitness? managers email, to the gym's email along with they're financial company. I was given the run around being told to contact their 3rd party billing company only til he told to contact the manager of the gym again. The gym denied my requests for refund after showing statements and transaction showing dnouble payments causing my bank to remove the provisional credits from my accounts. This will cause fees from my bank and the gym is claiming that it will take up to a week even after this same complaint was disputed before. When asking to contact a decision maker I wa solace's on hold 25 min only to receive no help or resolutions. Then I called back to obtain their corporate number or speak with someone higher than the manager and my calls were ignored Arnd hung up on twice after being placed on hold (I'm sure they have caller ID).

after looking into the issue above we found that the member had his card on some one else's account as secondary form of payment. we went ahead as a courtesy and removed his information from her account so he will no longer be billed.
Planet fitness decided to renew my membership without my consent. They charged my credit cart $39.06 on 02/01/18, and I canceled my membership on 02/02/2018. They said that my contact state that they can renew my membership without my consent. My membership fee when I signed up first time was free. They don't have right to come up with a number and charge my card without my consent regardless of the fine line that we are never able to see when I signed the electronic contract using a very small screen at the gym. They charged me $39.06.

Refund A better business conduct should include notifying the consumer before renewing the contact asking their consent. We receive multiple emails from them trying to sell us product. They should send us one email a year asking our permission to renew the contract, and informing the consumer about the new fee. I need a refund of $39.06.
