Failed to cancel my membership after SEVERAL rwquest
I moved in 11/2017 4 hours,away from this club. I was advises since I did not want to pay a cancellation fee, I could call when my membership was up and cancel. I did this in July 2018, I was told I had to come in to the location. I advised I had moved 4 hours away. I was then told I could write a letter or go into a local branch. I wrote a letter. Today I checked my bank account and see I was charged on 8/17 the monthly fee and again on 9/4 an annual fee. I again called the location I talked to a manager Kiera? She said I could go into a local branch but they would not refund my money. I came to the local branch here and they told me I had to go to that location since it was in another region. They make it impossible to cancel so they can keep billing you.
I'd like at least the annual fee I was charge refunded.

We do apologize for the confusion of the cancellation process. We absolutely value you as a member and would like to see you back. The membership has been transferred to another location on 09/05. Unfortunately, we would not be able to refund the annual membership fee being that it was still an active membership past the cutoff day of the 25th of August. If there was a letter sent via certified mail which is one of the ways to cancel, there should be a receipt of it being received sent to the sender. If we have documentation of that, we would absolutely be able to refund the annual fee if it shows received by August 25th. At this time, we do not have any record of a letter that was sent. Any documents would be scanned in under the member profile. Please provide your copy of the receipt for review. Please feel free to reach out if there are any questions.

I went in and canceled my membership in January I was not canceled and they continue to charge my card. I went back when I got a text from them that they couldn't charge my card.
They said they had no proof of cancelation cause the employee did not cancel in January. They refused to give me the owners info so I can contact them. I called Corp and same story.
I expect to get a refund for the five months they charged me after I went in person to cancel. The employee I spoke with in January said I was canceled and I assumed that was it. Either he made a mistake or they do this to continue charging customers.
The member signed up on 7/25/15 and initialed that they understood the cancellation and billing policies. The membership was never cancelled in January. I have attached both the membership agreement as well as the cancellation form that they did complete per the terms of the agreement.
