MrM*** if your going to sit there and say those employees explained anything your lyingThey said sign, initial signIf you really believe your employees are telling people this then why do you have so many angry customers? Why when I called and said I am sending you the letter did you tell me it was too late to stop the charges this month which is another lieYou know this is wrong and no one read over that with me at signing. You need to take responsibility for your employees being poorly trained and I take responsibility for doing business with a shady companyIf I took the time to file multiple complaints what part of that makes you think it's not me cancelling, ask me for my last four social or my birthdateJust be honest this is just another way for you to get to take extra paymentsShady business practicesYou will never get a good word said from myself to anyone ever again instead I will tell them how I was ripped off for over a year and then even worse when I said stopI intend on contacting the owners or someone in the state over fraud because you were told to not take any more funds from my account, I will not go awayYou are wrong in doing this to peopleI have already had multiple messages from others you have done the same wayWe are putting the word out and will continue to do soYou need to change your policy or train your employees properly or you will continue to have angry customers

We are sorry that Brooke had trouble canceling her Moon Valery membership, and that she joined as she said she lives no where near it Unfortunately there isn't anything we can do We are a totally different business and owner from the Moon Valley club We can't cancel her or
refund her, we have never received any money from her This review is for the wrong business All cancellations are done on carbon paper, so if she did a cancelation for then she can just bring that to Moon Valley They will then refund her But this complaint is to the wrong business and we have no power or control what so ever :( Sorry

I went to this Planet Fitness location looking for a cheap gym membership while I was in town for a clinical rotation from April 2-June When I went into the store to inquire about membership fees and how much it would be for my time here, I was told that if I signed up for a "black card membership", my first month would be free, and then the second month I would pay the monthly fee of $21.99, and then I could cancel my membership in June when I left LouisvilleI asked about annual fees, and the woman I was talking to assured me that they wouldn't come out of my account until August 1st, which wouldn't be an issue for me since I was canceling my membership in early June when I left townOn June 1st, there was a $charge taken out of my account for an "annual club fee"I was certain this was a mistake, so I went into the store to have this remedied, and the man who was helping me stated that it was not a mistake, and that I had signed a form agreeing to thisThat would have been

In reference to complaint ID ***We at Planet Fitness understand and are aware of what went on with *** ***, however our files indicate that *** *** did not come into our place of business to cancel in the month of MayWe keep all files on hand and we do not have a
cancellation for this member. On the date of November 27th *** *** did come in to cancel, however at that time he had an outstanding balance with us in the amount of $In order to cancel his membership *** *** would have to clear up all outstanding balances, on this date he refused to pay his balance and we could not process his cancelation due to the outstanding balance on his account. I am rejecting this response because:I was told by your manager, at the time, that it would be taken care ofTherefore she did not recieve the proper training when your Norwalk location opened? I recently received a txt from the Norwalk location that I needed to contact the facility about my membership being past due? Really, after years of not being there? Please explain how that program works? The facility took a year and three months of money from me after I was told my cancellation would be taken care of? Please explain? Thx for your time

Please be advised, however, that the employee who told the responding party that I said "no one ever reads those things" either has be confused with another person or is outright lyingDuring none of my conversations with this woman did she even reference my contract - I was the only one who did and I specifically said that I HAD read it*** only referenced her computerHow incredibly unfortunate that she is in a position to refuse customers access to the person in charge when she has either a memory problem or - as I suspect from having dealt with her - an aversion to the truth

Customer was refunded 30.05. All payments are due on the 17th of each month for all members.If a member wants to pay in advance they have to do it by the 10th because the process starts to go to their bank and is taken out on or around the 17th of each month depending on the day in which the 17th falls on

I am rejecting this response because I signed a membership agreement for ONE club and the club I was a member of closedI called in response to the business supposed "move" rejecting such an option and cancelling my membershipThe fact the store admits here in their response that they ARE capable of canceling a membership over the phone (even as an exception) proves they simply refused to cancel my membership previously and continued to charge my credit card for services I was no longer using and had indicated more than once that I wanted canceledTo stop the charges I had to put a block on my credit cardif the STORE is reading this response, you had best note that the next communication you receive regarding this case of your fraudulent charges and abuse of consumer trust will be from the attorney generals office

Company continues to auto-draft from banking account after account is closed
