Planet Fitness of Guilford

Review: Planet Fitness in [redacted] is obviously a substandard club. This is evidenced by the low membership fees, filthy conditions, empty paper towel dispensers,overflowing garbage containers as well as the shoddy condition of the equipment and T.V. system. Repairs are not done in a timely fashion. I assumed that the substandard conditions were a result of the low membership fees. Unfortunately this club embraces a culture of dysfunction both in terms of the physical maintenance of the gym and the customer service ethic displayed by the employees. I experienced harassment at this club by a club employee and when I politely brought this to the attention of the the management, they retaliated. Apparently they are unable or unwilling to appreciate the privacy of female club members and are willing to allow the male staff to frequently intrude on workouts demanding attention and conversation. They also allow men to enter the women's locker rooms during business hours. The filth, disrepair, and culture of sexual harassment lead me to feel compelled to warn others. [redacted] and [redacted] only add to the dysfunction.Desired Settlement: Planet Fitness could use some sexual harassment awareness training. My understanding is that they are under federal mandate to provide customers with a harassment free work-out environment. Perhaps they should be reminded of this.
