I worked primarily with David R[redacted] on a huge project involving a retrofit of my home. Not only were the plans incorrect, it took months to get the plans approved by the City of Austin before we could even start. David and apparently some of the other architects are not familiar with building code and it was evident time after time when corrections had to be made on the spot during my build which cost tens of thousands of dollars. The mistake of going with Place Designers was not only costly, but was very stressful. We felt like we were given a set of plans and left to fend for ourselves. Josseph was our only saving grace because he was the only person who would make himself available to us to adjust the plans so that we could finally move forward. It even took me, the owner of the property to go down to the City of Austin permitting office after numerous unsuccessful attempts by builder and architect to finally get the permit through. This architect does not play well with others, including contractors. Again, it was a very costly and stressful experience.
