Review: On June [redacted], 2014, I signed a contract with [redacted] and [redacted] of Pixel Cleanse. She required full payment upfront of $2,191.00 to code and design a custom website, logo and newsletter template for my company. I paid her the full amount of $2,191.00 by personal check, as she requested. The price breakdown is as follows:$597.00 - custom logo $297.00 - custom template for newsletter$1,297.00 - custom website. When it became clear that [redacted] is neither qualified nor willing to deliver on the services she promised, I terminated our contract. Undelivered Services:1. mock up designs for a logo.2. A newsletter template.3. Custom built website.Proceeding the mutual agreement to terminate our contract, [redacted] agreed via email to refund my money in full. However, while she required full payment up front she said she would have to pay me back in 3 installments: $730.33 paid on October [redacted], $730.33 on November [redacted] and $730.34 on December [redacted], totaling $2,191.00.When the first payment was due she stopped responding to my emails, phone calls and text messages. I sent daily emails for two weeks. Yesterday, October [redacted] I sent her a text message asking if we could have a conversation to figure out how and when she would pay me back. She responded by sending an email that said I was harassing her and that I agreed to not receive a refund. There is of course no evidence of that agreement, as I would never agree to pay for services unrendered, especially not in the amount of $2,191.00.I have sought legal council and will be taking [redacted] to court. However, let it be noted that [redacted] is not her real name. She uses an alias. She was also evicted from her apartment and has no physical address and she spends her time couch surfing. She was fired from her past two jobs at The [redacted] and [redacted]. She is currently unemployed, so tracking her down presents a unique set of challenges but justice will be served.Desired Settlement: [redacted] will refund me in the full amount of $2,191.00.
