Review: I brought my 4x4 Isuzu Amigo for an engine swap. The LS V6 was a bolt in swap, but Steve talked me into a LS1 V8. This required a new transmission and transfercase, which he said was no problem, that it was done all the time. After meeting him in person, I left him $5,825 dollars. This was in late September of 2014. I told him I needed it before it snows, and he said it shouldn't be an issue. He installed a used 5.3L V8 (not the LS1 I requested), and a 20 year old transmission, all from a junkyard. He cut off my expensive braided steel brake lines, my expensive off road torsion bars, asked for another $2,000, and a year later still had not finished the truck. Then he told me he needed an additional $20,000 to finish the job. The blue book value of this vehicle is $2,500.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my $7,800 investment. He can keep the vehicle.
