I called Pipetech, because I kept hearing running water in the tank of my toilet JR R*** is the Tech that was dispatched to my home JR was so polite from the time he knocked on my door and to completion of the services he did for me He fixed the problem in the tank of my toilet, tightened the toilet seat that had gotten loose from years of use, and he did the most thorough preventive maintenance check of all the plumbing in my home I asked him about replacing the faucet in my laundry room and he did the job most professionally JR is all about CUSTOMER SERVICE & I appreciated his kindness and honestyI recommend him highly for plumbing services, because he takes PRIDE in his work and services

Dillinger did an excellent job when he came out to conduct our annual PMA plumbing serviceHe was efficient, courteous and helped to change out one of our angle stop valves that had gotten stuckHighly recommend Pipetech Plumbing!

I was very pleased with the service I received Shane H was very knowledgeable & helpful Will definitely recommend Pipetech Plumbing! Finally found a company that I will continue to use

I had a broken bathroom faucet and JR and Jacob came and not only fixed it but explained what they did and showed me the parts and how they worked It was very helpful they went above and beyond since the faucet was rusted in and was not easy to get out

Today I had two very nice & friendly plumbers JR & Ryan They did a fine job & were friendly & explained what they would do & the final cost to me I would gladly recommend them to anyone Dennis

I am extremely happy with my experience with Pipetech Plumbing. I had a leak at my main water line and they came, gave me an estimate and later I was even able to get an appointment the very next day.No pressure at all from either one. They just told me the facts and made their recommendations. When I chose the cheaper route I didn't get any push back at all. Cameron and Ryan were great and I feel that the cost was fair for the work involved. I have to point out that most of the digging and trenching was done by myself however, there was more that they had to do and that did not reflect in my final bill. I will recommend them to others as well as continue to be their customer.

This is the second time in two weeks that technician Raymond R[redacted] has been to our home to fix plumbing problems. Each visit was for a different problem. In both instances he performed in a very professional manner, quickley identifying the problem and fixing the problem expeditiously and effeciently. There was no attempt to sell us anything we didn't need. Mr,. R**z and Pipe Tech are welcome to fix any other future plumbing problems we may have.

I had a water heater installed today by "JR". Wow, he went way above my expectations. He and his partner were quite pleasant, experienced and even swept my garage after the installation . They cleaned up the site they worked on. I would certainly recommend this company. They are very customer and service oriented and very reasonably priced. JR and his manager went above my expectations by 200%. Thank you "JR" for the attention to detail and the care you put into the installation and education on ways to keep the water heater lasting longer than 9-10 years!

JayR from Pipetech drive an hour across Phoenix on a Saturday night to fix an issue with my faucet. Despite having to make the long haul he showed up in good spirits, took care of the issue in a few minutes and charged a more than fair rate. Thanks for a great service experience pipetec and Jay R.

Shane H[redacted], a technician from Pipetech was here today to do a maintenance check on our plumbing, hot water heater, RO system, and to check the valves and p-traps for leaks, etc. He was very pleasant, efficient, and professional as he completed each task. He also gave us the best price he could for the service he performed. Great job Shane! Thanks again.

The following is a letter written to PipeTech management following a service call to replace a shower valve: I am writing to express my frustration with your company regarding a recent service job. Here are the details: 1. On May 11th, your plumbing service technician arrived at our house to replace a shower valve. While this technician was polite and courteous, he was not prepared for this job since he didn’t even have the necessary tools to do the work. I had to provide him with an allen wrench so he could remove the faucet handle. Imagine a plumber not having a set of allen wrenches when almost every faucet handle requires one to remove it. But wait…there’s more. 2. After removing the handle and face plate, he began trying to remove the valve but could not. After several attempts, he concluded that we needed to cut a larger hole in the fiberglass tub so he could remove the entire valve assembly. This would require installing a much larger faceplace in the shower at an estimated cost of $425. But wait…there’s more. 3. We agreed that I would get a replacement valve at the local [redacted] and reschedule the job for Saturday, May 14th. Additionally, I had to pay a deposit on my credit card of $200, which I did. Then the technician left. So at this point, the shower still doesn’t work, I was told that the fiberglass has to be cut, it is going to cost $425, and I had to pay $200. But wait…there’s more. 4. I then took a picture of the shower valve (see below) and went to the local home depot to get a valve replacement. At [redacted], I spoke with a sales person in the plumbing department. He took one look at the picture and asked me if the plumber had removed the pin from the valve. He pointed to the picture and specifically identified the pin that needed to be removed. He then got me the replacement valve ($35) and a removal tool ($12), neither of which the PipeTech plumbing service technician had. He then proceeded to show me how to use the removal tool. So, for about $50, the [redacted] sales person supplied me with all of the parts and information needed to complete the job. But wait…there’s more. 5. When I returned home, I remove the pin from the old value, used the removal tool to pull the old valve out, and replaced it with the new valve. Next, I proceeded to replace the cover and handle, and completed the job with valve working correctly in about 15 minutes. To think that the PipeTech plumbing service technician estimated $425 and several hours work for this job when a person like me, with NO plumbing experience completed the job in 15 minutes, well, I think the conclusion is obvious. But wait…there’s more. 6. I then proceeded to call the PipeTech office to get a refund of my $200 and cancel the appointment on Saturday. The person I spoke with looked up the order and assured me that the $200 would be refunded to my account and that the Saturday service call would be cancelled. Based on the information provided to me on the phone by the PipeTech representative, please take close note of the following facts: • The $200 charge was applied to my credit card account on 5/11, and as of today (5/14), there is no credit. • I received a call from the PipeTech plumbing service technician on Friday afternoon (5/13) wanting to know if he should get the valve for the appointment on Saturday. It pains me to recall such a poor level of customer experience with respect to a vendor, much less having to go through the events. Nevertheless, here’s my summary of the situation: • This service request cost me about 1-1/2 to 2 hours of my time. • I had to supply tools to the so-called professional installer to do the work. • This professional installer didn’t know what he was doing with respect to removal of the valve. • PipeTech had no problem charging my account for $200 immediately, but delayed substantially in refunding the money when it was promised to me that it would be refunded. • There is a significant lack of effective communication between PipeTech’s dispatch department and their technicians. Let me put this as plainly as I can…YOU’RE FIRED! No one from your company will ever set foot in a house I own ever again. Given this type of experience, it’s a wonder that you’re even in business. Thanks for nothing.

Today we contacted Pipetech Plumbing because the drain to the washing machine was backing up. Their response was almost immediate. Service Technician Shane Hooper was on our door step within an hour. Shane was very professional, kind and very courteous. He did the diagnostics and discovered the drain needed the Hydro Jet treatment to clear the line. He will be back tomorrow to do this process and I'm sure have us doing laundry very soon. Shane is a pleasure to do business with & I would ask for him for my future plumbing needs.

I was very pleased with the service I received. Shane H was very knowledgeable & helpful. Will definitely recommend Pipetech Plumbing! Finally found a company that I will continue to use.

Shane is AWESOME with a capital A! He came over to fix our running toilets and with all the repairs that were needed it was cheaper just to replace the toilet. Shane got the toilets installed and running in no time. We also had him install a new kitchen faucet and soap dispenser. It was a much bigger job then we originally thought, but Shane wasted no time getting the job done right! Thank you for being so kind and customer service focused!

Zack and JR just completed installation of our new water softener. They were extremely polite and very competent. JR was patient and understanding about all our concerns. We appreciated their mechanical skills - A good experience. 5 stars!!!

I had a pipe burst mid-day on a Sunday. A team was sent out to my house quickly, and after briefly studying the problem, Shane H addressed it efficiently. Despite being called out on weekday, he was in a great mood and made sure I felt confident with everything he did. Shane walked me step by step through his process as well as recommendations to prevent similar problems in the future. I would highly recommend them and would be happy to have them back in the future should any other problems arise.

Pipetech repaired a cracked drain line from in my home. There was alot of going up and down the stairs to repair but the Shane did it with a smile. Reasonable price too!

I am writing this review to echo all of the previous positive reviews. Nowadays it is hard to find reliable, professional and honest contractors. If you are looking for that kind of plumber (or even AC Tech) this is the company. Sure there are some bad apples but they will be redressed and the company will make everything right. Ask for Tom, the General Manager. I have had a maintenance agreement with Precision Air to take care of my AC and my plumbing since the business got started. This year the plumbing side was split out and is now called PipeTech. JR was the first plumber that took care of our plumbing needs through PipeTEch. He came out about a year ago to repair some leaky faucets and a damaged water heater pan. He was very professional in every way. He came out again to do our annual maintenance check and service. Wow! I was astonished at the complete list of annual service items that he took care of. He was polite, considerate of my home by wearing shoe covers and gloves, he had the tools and parts on his truck and was qualified to perform everything required on the list. I strongly endorse PipeTech, their plumber JR and their sister company Precision Air. Call them now for the maintenance agreement and be assured that your plumbing and AC are in good hands.
