Review: The problem started with a change in the original design of the cabinet re-facing project.Initially the dishwasher was to be relocated so that a lazy susan could be put in the cabinet corner under the corner kitchen counter. Several days later we realized the moving of the dishwasher was not practical as it did not allow enough room by the kitchen sink to perform duties at the sink. We contacted the contractor that this initial design would not work. So it was agreed that the dishwasher would not be moved and a metal rack system would be installed instead. The contractor installed a devise that was not a lazy susan and did not work to utilize the space as we had wanted. The contractor claims that the rack system would not work as the stove was in the way. The new stove is in the way because it was not properly installed. If the electrical was moved lower down the wall the stove could have been pushed back flush with the cabinet and then the rack system would work. The contractor saved money by not having to move the dishwasher and installing additional electrical wiring and plumbing for the new location of the dishwasher. We should get a rebate for the cost savings on not moving the washer as originally agreed. We have now decided not to go for the lazy susan and to put the shelf back that was taken out for the rack system. As of this date the contractor has not performed this work as promised. The contractor has more material that has not been supplied. We still need doors and drawers for the wet bar that was promised. We want the shelf re-installed and a refund for the change in design that saved the contractor money by not having to move the dishwasher.Desired Settlement: Re-install shelf, supply material need, refund savings in design change
