Pinnacle International

I purchased a condo unit that is built by Pinnacle directly. My purchase experiment is not so happy at all. The initial price that they listed is reasonable. But we need to pay extra $50,000 for closing. Before the final closing they let you move in but most of the facilities were not ready. Like garbage disposal is the main one. Inside the unit, the workmanship is bad. After you reported the defective items to them through their PDI form, they would send their handyman to fix a few things for you. This is talking about 2 or 3 months later. Sometimes they will ignore the items that you reported. If you send email to them to ask the status, they might send the handy man to your unit again and use unprofessional way to fix the defects. For example, use silicon caulking to fill a big hole in the cabinet. Some items they cannot fix, they just say those are trade items. Needs to wait for the parts to be ready. I have a few "trade items" in my unit that has been waited for over 1 YEAR! That is unacceptable. They supposed to send the related vendor to replace the item for me, but they never done that even though they promised that. Or the cut out of the dry wall around the electrical junction box is not properly sealed or covered with wall plate. They just say that is "Standard". I am wondering what Standard it is. I have never seen a new house with that UGLY thing. I am VERY VERY disappointed with Pinnacle condo. I don't recommend buying Pinnacle condo. Their customer service staff makes you upset all the time. I will never buy condo from them any more. I will go for Tridel Condo instead.

Terrible after purchase service. *** Less than 30 days after occupancy I brought the damaged items up to her including pictures. 3 months later the excuses I never received email etc. came took pictures, 3 months later complained she came took pictures, it is 9 months later and nothing has been done. After the most recent came took pictures I am told the 8" crack in my kitchen gable the installer tried to cover up with same colour caulk is not even warrantable. There are numerous other owners in my Condo going through the same run around game. Had I known what poor after purchase service Pinnacle International offered I never would have purchased. I will now have to wait till I put in my 1 year Tarion claim before they may take action which I am sure they will fight tooth and nail.
