Revdex.com: Although the owner refused to return more than half of my security deposit without cause and further failed to provide me with any proof whatsoever of damage to the apartment, let alone "excessive" damage, despite my repeated written requests, she did return my two week overpayment of rentI will not be pursuing further action against [redacted] *** regarding complaint [redacted] but caution other renters about her fraudulent and deceptive practices Regards, [redacted]
Our law firm represents [redacted] (Pinnacle Homes). Please find this as our formal response to [redacted]. I want to apologize for the timing of Pinnacle Homes' response as my office inadvertently thought it had mailed this letter on January 31, 2017.Importantly, there are inaccuracies in [redacted]s' complaint with your agency as follows:Pinnacle Heights Apartments has returned Two Hundred Ninety Dollars ($290.00) remaining on [redacted] security deposit after providing her with photographic evidence and billing statements evidencing the damage in her apartment and the reduction of her security deposit. (See enclosures) Therefore, we strongly deny [redacted]' Statement of the Problem stating she was "provided no proof, took no pictures before ripping it out just said she was keeping it." As the enclosures provide Pinnacle Heights did provide her with photographs and billing statements despite [redacted] erroneous claims to the contrary. Finally, [redacted] repeatedly tells [redacted]t that she is the best landlord she has ever had. (See Enclosures) Arguably, [redacted] became a good judge of character from August 2014 to December 2016 during her tenancy at Pinnacle Homes. Ms. Harbert's fair treatment of Ms. Merriles did not end after her tenancy. Accordingly, after reviewing the enclosures provided with this letter it should provide a fuller explanation as to what occurred when [redacted] moved out of her apartment. She was not "robbed" as she alleges in her complaint to your agency. However, in an effort to resolve this matter my client is willing to refund to [redacted] the $332.50 in additional rental monies she paid in December 2016.I look forward to your response.Sincerely,[redacted]
