Review: I ordered from Pink Orchid Press on October 27 for 3 sets of letterpress stationery. I briefly communicated with her within the 24 period about product and what I wanted. The business has a stated policy of 3-4-week turn around time, so I did not follow up until after the 4 weeks were up. I tried to contact her three times (through personal email, phone, and [redacted] communication) to no avail. With the third communication, I indicated that if I d id not here from her within 2 days I would lodge complaints. After 4 days, I started 3 cases (one for each order) through [redacted] and 3 resolutions (again, one for each order) through [redacted] (since I had paid using that service). I did state on [redacted] that I still wanted the product; I wrongly assumed that there would be some sort of contact (e.g. an apology) before additional action was taken.
Although Pink Orchid was no longer allowed to sell on [redacted] while the cases were pending, I did not receive any communication until [redacted] alerted me that there was a tracking number for each of the items. The products had been postmarked (according to the tracking information) on December 10. I called Pink Orchid to thank the owner for posting the items, but that due to the lateness I was out an additional $250 because I was forced to buy other gifts. Moreover, I asked her to call me back so I could understand the issue around my order, but that I was going to report Pink Orchid to [redacted] and [redacted] (again) and to the Revdex.com in the company's local area.
My disappointment and concern could have easily be dissuaded by simple customer service; a status update email would have sufficed.Desired Settlement: An honest apology and acknowledgement of bad customer service is what I most desire. A small refund would also be appreciated.
As I have not received the products yet, I am hopeful they will be acceptable when they arrive.
Review: I paid a deposit in the amount of $700 for a wedding invitation suite back in April 2014. I was promised proofs of the invitations that I could review before moving forward with my order. Since June 2014, I have been unable to get in contact with this business. I have sent several emails, voice mails, and even attempted to contact the owner via social media. I have not been refunded my deposit nor have I received any of the merchandise.Desired Settlement: I would like for the business to finish the job and provide the merchandise that was agreed upon in the contract. I would also like to be compensated for this inconvenience with complimentary pieces to go with my suite. If this is not at all possible, I would like a refund.
